Thanks for your message. Typically, to achieve an aesthetically pleasant result, in one square centimeter, it needs to have around 40 to 60 hair grafts. Specifically, in your case, it depends on the amount of grafts in your donor area. If you have a significant bald area, usually, in the first session in our practice, we focus on the front area. At 8 months post-hair transplant, you're still within the period where growth and thickening are continuing, but you should have seen some noticeable improvement by now. Density can vary depending on the number of grafts placed, the quality of the donor hair, and the skill of the surgeon. If you're feeling like your results aren't as dense as expected, it could be due to several factors:
Graft Count: The number of grafts placed per square centimeter determines how dense the result will be. If fewer grafts were used, it may not achieve the thickness you're looking for.
Growth Cycle: Hair growth after a transplant can continue to improve up to 12-18 months. It's possible that you're still in the growth phase, and the full density hasn’t come in yet.
Hair Characteristics: Thicker, coarser hair will provide more density than fine hair, even with the same number of grafts.
