When I get laser hair removal, will the hair eventually grow back thicker?

So is laser hair removal sometimes a permident thing or is it eventually going to return to its original thickness ?? And i heard that when you get laser hair removal the hairs that grow back are still long and blonde , what happens if u wax these ? Will the hairs get thick again

I had a series of laser hair removal treatments nearly 20 years ago, and no regrowth.  Long lasting means very long lasting. Of the many hundreds of treatments we have done in our office it is rare to find a patient who does not respond.  Even rarer is someone who has had successful hair reduction develop new growth. Regrowth after a period of hairlessness could be triggered by hormonal influences such as polycystic ovarian syndrome or oral testosterone treatments.  Most people don't have these influences and therefor do very well.It is important that the laser used be of high quality (like Lumenis LightSheer or the new Clear and Brilliant Pelo) and that the laser tech be certified, supervised and experienced.  Laser hair removal is a medical procedure with serious consequences (burns, skin color changes) if done poorly. One thing to know, most hair removal uses pigment as the target meaning the hair must have pigment, more than the surrounding skin, to be truly effective.  The only exception is miraSmooth, which treats all hair colors in all skin types.  At this time miraSmooth is only used in the underarm area (it also reduces sweat and odor!)

If you have blond hair the laser is not going to work.If you gave dark hair however the right laser system will remove the hair with little or no regrowth.Expect 4-8 sessions depending on area of the body and type of laser.
