How to treat hypopigmentation after laser hair removal? (Photo)

Question

I got my 7th laser hair removal treatment on the bikini area (two weeks ago) and I been experiencing hypopigmentation. It started off with scar-like appearance several hours after treatment and few days later, the 'dark scar-like marks' started to peel off. I really hope that this is not permanent. Is there a way that I can fully re-gain the pigment? The laser that was used on me is "light sheer duet". I have been applying vitamin e oitment everyday to speed up the healing process.

Any burning of the skin from laser can lead to hypopigmentation.  All of these typically resolve over a period of 6 weeks to 6 months.  Even in the worst cases it will eventually go away.  During this time it is best not to undergo any further laser treatment to the skin.  It also helps to expose that area to sun on a daily basis without getting any sunburns.  It will stimulate the growth of Melanin and expedite the recovery of the pigment.Her lastDr. J

It will tepirnt slowly but an excimer 308 or narrow band uvb can speed up process.The setting was probably too high or you wee tan ?
