Hello, I got a BBL that is waaayyy to big for me, right now I am not able to go get a revision. My original surgeon refused to do it, so I'm looking for something to help reduce the size just a bit in the mean time. I was wondering with the help of working out, would Emsculpt help burn some fat? Or would my butt just end up looking bigger? If anyone can lend some advice that would be great! Thanks
Answer: How to reverse a BBL , buttock is too bag and sagging with celluite what do I do? this needs liposuciton plus internal heating (renuvion) for improvment. trusculpt FLEX does better than emsculpt and RF treatments like legacy should be done at the same time. this may help but likely not nearly what is needed which is liposuction. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Emsculpt i would suggest doing the Emsculpt Neo at the abdominal setting but treat your buttocks. This setting will reduce fat and tighten skin so that your buttocks doesn't get saggy with the fat loss

Answer: Emsculpt to reduct BBL Thank you for your question and posting your picture. It is possible, though not guaranteed, that Emsculpt may reduce your BBL. The fat in the buttocks is somewhat resistant to the effects of Emsculpt, but since this is transplanted fat, it may respond. The center should use the abdominal settings to optimize fat reduction. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Emsculpt is not the answer...... I was a clinical site for the glute lifting study (published in Journal of Drugs in Dermatology) and have performed 100s of treatments on male and female glutes. I don't see any volume loss in patients and I also have patients over 2 years post treatment that have maintained their results beautifully. If you maintain physical activity (especially if you have a history of doing any kind of weight bearing exercise for your legs), you will maintain nicely. Emsculpt is unique because it isn't only increasing muscle and shape (lift), but there is a functional improvement (you can FEEL a difference in the way that the muscle engages/contracts). Very cool. I don't think this will address your concerns. I do think that the response from Dr. Jason Emer is a spot on solution. He would do a great job of revising the current result. You may decide to revisit Emsculpt down to road sometime. Hope this helps! Cheers, Dr. JD McCoy

Answer: BBL revision needs I read your profile including your previous post. I don’t think your results are as bad as you make them out to be but you could benefit from a fairly minor revision. Stylistically your surgeon left fullness on the upper outer part of the buttocks that prevents your S-curve from having a natural flow. Simply reducing the upper outer part of your buttocks to create a curvier contour will get you to a fairly ideal outcome. Some fat can also be reduced in the lower outer part of your buttocks for a better transition onto your outer thigh. Your wish picture did show a fairly aggressive hyper femininity. In the case if the woman in your wish figure the shape don’t come from fat distribution but are primarily based on skeletal structure having inherent curves. Trying to mimic a highly exaggerated hyper feminine curved skeletal structure with fat manipulation sometimes ends up looking like stacked fat on a straight body. Unfortunately this is sometimes patients come in asking for. The correct procedure for you is a revision through Liposuction. The best person to do that is your provider. The review your wrote clearly spells out your dissatisfaction. The review is in my opinion personal and should be written in a more professional manner. Overall your provider did a very good job. There’s a fairly small part of your BBL that needs to be revised to improve your contour. The Liposuction was done really well. I have certainly seen far far worse outcomes both in regards to Liposuction and fat transfer especially considering your candidacy. Revisions are needed for more often than people believe. It’s not unreasonable to have one out of five patients have a revision. This is simply part of plastic surgery. I suggest trying to restore your relationship with your provider to see if you can get him to do the revision for you. Otherwise I suggest having in person consultations with other plastic surgeons in your area to see if they’re willing to help you out. It simply shouldn’t be that difficult to get a result more similar to your liking. Muscle strengthening will not have any impact on your fat distribution and will be a waste of money. You need to have some of the fat removed to create a more curvy shape. This is done through Liposuction. Expectations need to be set correctly based on each individual person’s candidacy. Some people are ideal candidates for very impressive results while other patients simply aren’t going to have that type of results regardless of who does the procedure. Emmsuculpt is not the way to go for this. Please schedule in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to get to properly assessed. When doing so please bring proper before and after pictures taken by your surgeon. If you don’t have them contact his office and ask them to forward them. You should also get a copy of your operative report and show that to any new plastic surgeon you consult with. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
