I’m scheduled to get a Lift and Reduction may 6th. I’m currently a D, when they swell during that time of the month I am a DD. I’m 22 years old,5’7, and I want a B cup but I’m not sure if that will look proportional with my body. Should I go with a B or C cup?
Answer: Breast reduction to B cup Thanks for your question! When we are doing a breast reduction, the goal is to get the breast more in proportion with your body, but also we want to keep a pretty shape. Sometimes, the size is dictated by the base width of the breast. I wouldn't focus on a cup size. Just articulate your goals to your surgeon, and I'm sure he/she can get you a beautiful result for your frame! Good luck!

Answer: Breast reduction size decision. Should I go with a B or C cup for a proportional look? Hello, thank you for your question. Very large breasts have the natural tendency to sag or hang low, so breast reduction surgery will lift them up and help them look perkier under tight clothing. The gram amount is dependent upon the density of the breast tissue and the volume removed. No direct correlation exists with cup sizes.

Answer: Breast reductions Breast reductions often end up a lot smaller than you think. After surgery swelling goes down and a fair amount of fat is resorted over the next several months and your breasts end up even smaller. Because if this I tend to leave breasts on the fuller side knowing that fullness will go down by about a third.

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. You should approach breast reduction with an open mind and not a preconceived notion that B or C would be the correct size for your body. The correct size is proportionate to your body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast Reduction I tell all my patients that I can not guarantee a cup size. As a woman who actually shops for bras you and I both know that it depends on the store and the bra, fit is variable. Ask your surgeon to see pre and post op photos and then you may be able to get an idea of how your breasts will look postop. Good luck, Jane.
