I'm 5''6 and weight 145/150 pounds. I'm 25 and my bra size is 36DD, sometimes 34DDD/32F really depends on the bra and brand but the one I like the most is a 36DD that I bought 4 years ago at Primark. Is that enough to get a reduction to a nice C cup? I'm from Canada and the minimum you have to take out so it can be covered is 250grams/breast. I feel like my boobs aren't big enough but I do have so much back pains and mentally it's the worst I can't ever find anything that fits me.THANKS.

Answer: Breast reduction Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Based on your description, you may be a good candidate for breast reduction to alleviate the back pain. The specific amount of tissue removed can be better ascertained during an in person evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon. I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Answer: I'm 5'6, 145-150 lbs, and want a reduction from DD to C cup. Would I have enough for the 250 gram minimum? Hi. Good question, but the answer is not that simple. The cup size itself does not correlate directly with the amount of grams expected to be removed. That is really best determined by an in person consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon to estimate how many grams he or she thinks would be removed during a breast reduction. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon with good experience with breast reductions to help go over all of this with you. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell
