I've had this hole for as long as I can remember now and I don't know if it's truly gotten "worse" or I'm just noticing it more because it has become something I'm definitely self-conscious about. I don't know how to remove it or who to see for it. My PCP? A specialist? An esthetician? I saw a similar post, but I feel mine is more intense and I'm having trouble finding anything that seems to fit my case. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

I would recommend a neuromodulator like Botox or Dysport to relax the glabellar muscles to begin with. Regular treatments should reduce the size of these muscles. If there is any forehead volume loss, it could be treated with an HA filler.
There is always some risk with any medical procedure including filler treatment. The risk of filler treatment can be reduced by seeing an experienced injector. Slow, low pressure injections using a microcannula are in my opinion the safest in higher risk areas.
