I am wondering which is more effective at tightening skin (especially right below the chin). RF microneedling or a profractional laser?
Answer: RF microneedling such as Morpheus8 is great for skin tightening Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: RF Microneedling with Hyper-dilute Radiesse The best combination treatment I recommend for my patients hoping to achieve the same results you are looking for is a full face Morpheus 8 treatment followed by hyperdilute Radiesse to the neck. Morpheus 8 is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment meant to provide fractional remodeling while stimulating collagen production. Morpheus 8 helps to tighten the crepey skin in the area being treated as well which makes it ideal for the results you are trying to achieve. Hyperdilute Radiesse is just as it sounds, it is a diluted filler which at our office we dilute with saline and PRF, (platelet rich fibrin.) Hyperdilute Radiesse with PRF is great for improving overall skin texture and quality of the neck while also treating crepiness. The combination of RF microneedling and hyperdilute Radiesse is the perfect pair of treatments to help tighten and strengthen the skin in your face and neck. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office consultations with board certified plastic surgeons to discuss your ideal aesthetic goals. This way, they can better assess your face and create an ideal treatment plan for you. Best of luck!

Answer: Facial Rejuv -- PRP/Microneedling, Laser (Fraxel/Halo/Co2), emeragecosmetics COSMELAN/ENLIGHTEN/EMERAGESKIN AERIFY LASERS DO NOT TIGHTEN. microneedling RF, threads, thermage, ultherapy, facetite --- all help to tighten. so do early face and neck lifts. we combine morpheus with halo/profractinoal all the time and threads to get a "tight and bright" procedure. def start at home dermarolling to help tighten skin as well between your lasers (link) at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify should be started now to prevent further aging. For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: What is more effective at tightening face and neck skin? There are a variety of treatments that could potential be done to try and tighten the skin of the face and neck. In general, surgery will always provide the most amount of improvement in tightening skin. Face/NeckTite can be used to tighten the skin of the lower face and neck and can produce good improvement. This is a radio frequency treatment that delivers heat to the tissue under the skin to produce tightening. Laser and micro needling can help to produce some textural improvement but I would say these treatments do not normally help with skin laxity. An examination or photos of you would be helpful to give you more specific advice.
