What is the best way to lighten or remove my scar that I’ve had for over 5 years? (Photo)

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. It's hard to determine whether your scar is significantly raised.. The hyperpigmentation can be treated with bleaching creams,chemical peels,laser and Tranexemic acid. If it's raised, intralesional injection, silicone tape and laser can be added.
