I am looking to do laser hair removal on the entire bikini area, but I keep reading that you need to have dark and coarse hair for many of the machines to work well. I have thin, light brown hair in that area (over pale skin)... Also, I'd like to find a machine that works well with the least amount of pain, as I have MS and am generally already dealing with a fair amount of discomfort. Thanks

Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair. If the hair is white, blonde or silver it will not work. Your only option for permanent removal is electrolysis.
I am not familiar with that laser. We use our Sciton 1064 Laser for hair reduction in darker skin individuals. It has not given us any hyper pigmentation problems. Perhaps you should seek out a Sciton owner in your locale for further treatments. We use Hydroquinone...
