Is it common to develop several painful lumps months after underarm Botox?

I got Botox under both arms and months later developed several painful lumps under my arm. Is this common? They eventually went away, at one point I took antibiotics, as my primary physician thought it was an infection. Now, nearly 11 months since the Botox, I got another painful lump. This time it’s more painful. Is this common months after Botox?

Thank you for your question. Botox can be used for decreasing sweat on the nose but should be diluted and used in micro-injections. Choose an experience physician injector because this technique is considered advanced.  Best regards, Dr. Bector

I typically use about 40-50 units per side injected in 20 locations. If you inject the Botox too deep, it will not work well. If you are getting Botox brand, 300 is too much to be injected in my opinion. I would consider Miradry as this is usually about 1700-2000 and has average of 82% ...
