How can I find out if I had silicone injections placed in my face?

I had injections placed in my face ( mid face ) for more volume but im not sure what they used. How can I find out what was used or if it was silicone? can an x-ray or any other kind of test reveal if silicone was used in my face? since 1 month later i am still very swollen, red, and left with 2 dimples on tear trough area.

Liquid silicone is unsafe, please do not use it ever. The autoimmune response could be triggered by this substance, if you look around on th Internet, you will find patients that have a lot of problems with this product. The use for lips and other areas is off label. The inical use is for retine problems.       
We need to know how long ago this product was injected into your face, who injected you, if it was a plastic surgeon, a dermatologist or a beautician. You have to ask for the copy of your clinical history, where the brand of the product they used is specified, the serial number, the lot and the manufacturing company. Also, an MRI would help you to know how much you have and where is located. It is very important to know the origin and brand of the product.

Please remember to be aware, do not let any permanenrt filler to be injected into your face, breast, buttocks, calfs, genitalia, etc. The safest way to increase buttocks is through your own fat injections or through silicone implants.

The only way to know for sure is to ask your injector what product was used. I would figure he would have discussed this with you preop.
