Buttocks augmentation/hip dips with Sculptra or Radiesse or a mix of two? Is it safe? Does it last? Is the price the same?

we do sculptra mixed with fillers like radiesse or renuva or bellafill. hip dips can be treated with fat grafting too.

Sculptra with the right dilution doesn't cause nodules in the buttock and is very safe.  It should be  combined with RF treatments to get the sculptra to work even better/stimulate it to produce collagen such as venus legacy / exilis ultra / thermage / inmode forma or contoura.  We often will add bellafill or renuva to certain areas to improve indentations or the buttock roll to get more definition and softening or to improve overall size and shape.  Smooth novathreads do very well to improve laxity of the buttock as well non surgically.  Just know that sculptra takes numerous treatments and vials, its a large expense and must be maintained at least 2 times a year after a series of treatments for the best result.  Dr. Emer.

Sculptra and Radiesse are both biostimulatory fillers which can be used to treat hip dips, the buttock, cellulite reduction and indentation reduction caused by bad liposuction or silicone/implant removal. Personally, I prefer to treat my patients with Radiesse because:1. The results are immediate (Sculptra’s results take 4-6 weeks to develop and multiple treatments to achieve noticeable collagen production)2. Radiesse not only stimulates new collagen, but new elastin as well3. Radiesse gives more “bang for your buck” as it delivers more volume per syringe and is therefore more affordable for my patients4. Radiesse is more predictable with less complications5. The post-procedure care is a lot easier with Radiesse than Sculptra (Sculptra requires constant massaging to activate the collagen production)6. Patients are allowed to sit on the treated area immediately after a Radiesse treatment whereas they cannot with Sculptra7. Results with Radiesse last as long as Sculptra, sometimes with better long-term results depending on the patient
