Dear brandyyh510,this type of wound is not uncommon after tummy tuck. It is usually caused by poor blood flow. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon, follow your surgeon's instructions and keep your wound clean and covered. Thank you for your question. As long as you keep this area clean, and follow your Plastic Surgeon's recommendations, you should be just fine. It looks like you may have some superficial skin loss at the central part of the incision - this should typically heal up just fine, but it may take some time. In my experience, when this happens, there can be some oozing from the area for about 2-3 weeks. In the interim, keep doing what you're doing and let your Plastic Surgeon know if you have any change in how you feel - more tired, feverish, etc; if the wound starts to smell or get red, or become pain. These are potential signs that there is an infection. Best of luck!
