How to correct my asymmetrical face? (photos)

Male 26 | I have a very asymmetrical face that I really want to correct, I was born with my skull overlapped and had to wear a helmet when I was a baby and was wondering if that could be the cause. I am very unhappy with my face at this point in time.

Thank you for providing images that showcase several different angles of your face. It appears that one side of your face is visibly shorter than the other. You have a few options to correct this imbalance. The simplest and most temporary solution would be dermal fillers to add volume to the shorter side of your face. Facial fat transfer and implants are more permanent solutions to consider. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon to determine the appropriate treatment plan.

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

One side of your face is vertically shorter than the other which is why it looks crooked/twisted. Like all facial asymmetries the key question is which side of your face do you like better...the shorter or the longer side. Most of the time people select the longer side and then it becomes necessary to develop a  plan to lengthen the shorter side. To so proper preoperative planning a 3D CT scan of your face is needed.
