i am reading of people suffering long term issues after botox gone bad. I researched that it is because even when botox is gone, the muscle becomes smaller and weaker. If i use a microcurrent devic, will i be able to prevent muscle atrophy? What about a tens?

Answer: Unsatisfied with Botox injection You should not try to alter your Botox results. It is better if you wait it out. It is not true that muscles become smaller and weaker. After Botox wears out, your muscles go back to normal state. Wait it out few months. It is better than diluting it. Good luck!

Answer: Leave it alone, or do fillers Muscle atrophy is sometimes a desired effect of Botox, especially around the jaw if you have large muscles that may make your face look more square vs oval. However around the eyes, temple area, it is not a desired effect. Even though the dynamic facial wrinkles are reduced, you may end up with thinner muscles. But once the Botox wears off, the muscles will regain it's strength and get back to it's original size within a month after the Botox is gone. One other option is that if you plan on continuing with Botox, you can do a filler under the skin to lift the skin away from the muscles, so the muscle atrophy is not very noticeable.
