I have a veneer (20 years old) that chipped on tooth 7. My new dentist recommended a crown. He also recommended a material my insurance will not cover called Emax. The Emax crown costs $250 more than the crown with metal and porcelain. Is it worth the extra cost? The total price of the Emax crown and buildup is $1,150. I'm wondering if the price is fair or should I seek a second opinon.
