Can you eat anything you want in smaller amounts after Sleeve Gastrectomy?

So i wanted to know that once your stomach heals after surgery, and you are back on solids, is it true that you can eat anything that you want or that your body can tolerate ( It will just be one cup or less of it)? Is this why you have to take multivitamins, just in case you consume the wrong type of food?

One of the advantages of sleeve gastrectomy over gastric banding is that you can indeed any type of food you like; just in smaller portions.We recommend that you take multivitamins supplements because you aren't eating enough food to get in the vitamins you need in the food you eat.

The interesting thing about getting a sleeve is many of my patients find they don't crave the same foods they once did. That said, you can indeed eat the same foods, but just in smaller portions. One of the main changes that people go through after any bariatric surgery is you can no longer eat and drink at the same time.
