Answer: Cost Treating an underbite is very very difficult. Invisalign may probably be your best solution., rather than undergoing a surgical procedure. Veneers will definitely not correct your problem, and will break very easily, considering your bite the way to see whether Invisalign will work in your case, preventing surgery, is to see if, when you bite on your front teeth, that your uppers can touch the lowers. If not, surgery is your only answer

Answer: Underbite correction without surgery. What is the average cost? Your photo shows that your upper teeth are several millimeters inside of your lower teeth. So porcelain veneers alone would have to be extremely thick to correct your underbite, and is not a recommended treatment for your problem. Your orthodontist is correct in that the best treatment for you is surgery. As an alternative, ask your orthontist if it would be possible to remove two lower bicuspids and move your lower teeth inward and move your upper teeth outward to get the underbite reduced. If this can be done, then you may be able to have porcelain veneers finalize the results that you want.
