This is a very good question. I can speak for the state of Florida, the maximum allowable amount of pure fat that can be harvested in one session of liposuction is 4000cc. I think that most states around the country are similar.These guidelines are there for patient safety. Please, understand that doesn't mean that if remove 4000cc you can put 2000cc per buttocks. The amount that can be transferred depends on multiple factors. We have to take into consideration the quality of the skin, the elasticity and the patient gluteal anatomy.
