5 liters of lipoaspirate is the upper limit in an outpatient setting in most states.  The restriction in fat transfer is only restricted in the sense that the amount harvested is restricted.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the
results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Find
a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of Brazilian
buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's
website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can

Every state is different but I usually will suction up to 5 liters of fat in the office setting as recommended by ASPS and ASAPS.

 This is a very good question. I can speak for the state of Florida, the maximum allowable amount of pure fat that can be harvested in one session of liposuction is 4000cc. I think that most states around the country are similar.These guidelines are there for patient safety.  Please, understand that doesn't mean that if remove 4000cc you can put 2000cc per buttocks. The amount that can be transferred depends on multiple factors. We have to take into consideration the quality of the skin, the elasticity and the patient gluteal anatomy.
