It's unlikely, this far out from surgery that steroid injections would help refine the nose significantly. That being said, there's little risk to trying this type of intervention if your surgeon feels excessive scar tissue built up in this region which is responsible for the issues.

Taping nightly can help but more during the active healing phase. At 5 years, you're likely looking at a revision if the areas are still persistent. Revisions carry their own set of risks which are often low if performed carefully. I would revisit with your surgeon to learn more about what may be done.
