Are my implants too small for my pockets? (photos)

I had naturally large breast that deflated after nursing my children. In 2017 I had a breast lift only. In Nov 2022 opted to have implants. After implant placement I had a lot of lateral displacement, in March 2023 I had the popcorn capsulerropathy procedure to tighten the pockets. It helped some. I still get this weird tugging of the medial lift scar that I am very self conscious about. When I push them up it goes away. would a larger implant,fuller on top help?

Your implants are not too small for the pockets. The stretch marks are from the mechanical load of your large implants. You would actually benefit from smaller implants and possibly lateral and inferior plication. You may also need the inferior skin resected to make the breasts look more attractive.

No, please do not go larger. Your breasts are now heavy from the additional weight of the implants and your tissue is stretching and not supporting that weight. Women who need lifts already have stretched and thinned their own tissue and adding more weight makes this worse. You should go smaller or remove the implants and lift again.

To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we need as much detailed information as possible. This usually means a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you’ve had more than one operation, then you should include before and after pictures for each previous procedure. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. it would also be important to know if your implants were placed below the muscle.
It looks like your envelope is holding up the implant, and that your implants are bottom out. Ideally, the implants should be secure in place by the anatomic pocket surgeon creates to hold the implant which should be held in place by fiber of the pus muscle.
If you’re not getting the support you need from your current provider, then I suggest you schedule a few in person second opinion consultations. For second opinion, consultations come prepared to bring with you a complete set up before, and after pictures and operative reports for each of your previous operations. Your situation is fairly complex and we can’t make an assessment based on your description and the pictures you’ve included.
