Is this normal for an anchor breast lift? Had my surgery on June 7th and my nipples look bumpy. (photos)

Some puckering around the areola incision is normal after this surgery, and this will almost certainly resolve on its own within a month or two. That said, I think you would be wise to have more follow up, whether this is exchanging photos or having a Facetime apppointment with your surgeon or seeking an opinion in person from a surgeon where you live. This may cost a couple hundred dollars, but if you remain worried, it may be worth it for the peace of mind.

Four days after surgery, the breasts are still very swollen and briused. The " bumpiness " around the nipples is typical of this procedure and will resolve with time. Your photos do not look particularly abnormal for this time period. I generally recommend out of town patients having a signicant procedure and general anesthetic remain locally for the first week in case they do experience a complication.

This is normal and you just need time to heal and we are talking weeks/months.This will allow the bumps and rtidges to smooth out.Be patient.

Thank you for your question and I'm sorry for your concern. The "anchor" incision is a very standard method for a breast lift if the patient has a significant degree of ptosis or drooping. This pattern should have been discussed with you before your surgery with your surgeon. You appear to be healing well without any acute issues however you do need close follow up with your surgeon over the first couple of weeks to move this to assure optimal healing and to address any concerns or problems that may arise. The bumpy nipple is not unusual right after surgery and will flatten your with time. I hope this helps.
