1 week post op breast reduction, what kind of tape was used on incisions? (photo)

I had my breast reduction on April 4th, 2019, There is so type of tape over my incisions ( either transpore or microspore ) I was curious which tape is usually used over incisions? My doctor wants to leave the tape on for another week or two but he said if it is sticking use powder. But some of the tape is coming off. Which tape is recommended to use: transpore or microspore? He said I can take if off if it's coming off but I just want to replace it so it can continue healing.

I use Micropore paper tape most commonly.  Transpore tape is clear and plastic, and is probably not the best. Ask your PS for recommendation.  Your PS can best judge your progress.  There are a zillion ways to do this.  Mostly helpful, some harmful.

Thank you for your question and the photos you provided. Tape used during surgery is all dependent on the surgeon's preference. If you ask 20 different surgeons, you will get 20 different answers about which is the best tape to use. In some practices, patients are asked to leave tape or skin glue on in place for up to 1 month post op, so do not be concerned that your provider wants to keep the tape on longer.
