nipple reduction after healed nipple piercing (photos)

Question

I had my right nipple pierced years ago - it has been healed up since I was 18 and my nipple is now shaped differently. (see photo) I would love to get this fixed when I get my breast augmentation (going to consults soon). How would you go about this and is it a pretty easy fix? Should most surgeons be able to perform this same time?

The proper way to reduce and reshape your nipple is with a minor surgical procedure that can be done easily in the office.  The key is to go to a plastic surgeon who is experienced with this type of procedure.  It will require a few stitches but you should not lose much if any nipple sensitivity.

A nipple reduction or nipple scar revision is a minor procedure and could be done either under local anesthesia by itself, or at the same time you have the breast augmentation.  Be certain to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience with cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
