I have recurring basal cells on my right forehead over my eye. My new Mohs surgeon wants to re-excise my old scars as well as the new basal cell in a large cross incision. he wants to go vertical on the new basal cell and horizontal on the old one to mimick the previous scar line. This seems excessive tome, and I am particularly concerned about a large vertical scar on my forehead over my eye, when everything I read says it should be horizontal there.
