Can Accutane get rid of a cyst on my breast?

Thanks for your question! I have not heard something like that before, but it might be something others have also wondered about. I am not sure the Accutane will have any effect on the cyst in your breast, since it is likely made of tissue that is not responsive to Accutane. Accutane is basically Vitamin A, and causes the oil glands, or sebaceous glands, to shrink down and not be as sensitive and inflamed. I would not think a cyst in the breast is a sebaceous gland, since those are associated with your hair follicles and open along the pores. You will have to let your dermatologist know if you get improvement in the breast cyst - could be an interesting finding, but don't be too disappointed if the Accutane doesn't help decrease the breast cyst.
