Trusculpt ID is contraindicated in implantable electrical devices such as defibrillator and pacemaker. If metal in the body, the Trusculpt ID should be used with caution. Just like a microwave with a metal spoon, heating of the metal is an issue if the focal point of the energy is on the metal. In other words, the treatment pad should not be directly on metal and the grounding pads should be away from metal implants. While never a bad idea to check with surgeon who placed metal implants, this should not prevent therapy as long as energy of pad is away from / not near metal objects and the grounding pads are also not on metal implants.
In my experience truSculptiD has excellent results with up to 24% fat reduction in one treatment and we see secondary skin tightening. Cost will vary from provider.
Ideally, I would recommend 4-5 applicators for optimal results. Since cost is an issue then I would recommend saving until you are able to afford a full treatment (it may end up saving you money in the end). Best of luck!
