Is this a botch job? (Photos)

Question

I am a gastric bypass patient & had a breast lift with silicone implants in October of 2023. I am disfigured. One breast is fuller than the other, I only have a nipple on my right breast as the areola is gone, my Left breast has an areola & a nipple, but have a divet as the original incision came open & the surgeon did open wound care for 6 months instead of stitching the incision back. I would like an opinion from other professionals on what they think

Obviously now it would have been best to first done the lift and later add the implants. However, your surgeon was trying to help you avoid two surgeries and took a risk. Color can be added to the areola with tattooing, and the lower lateral area can be revised. Another lift should not be done, nor should you exchange for larger implants.  You are not "botched," but all surgeries have risks as I am sure your surgeon discussed with you.  Sometimes unexpected things happen that is no one's fault.  Also, with weight loss and gastric bypasses, your nutrition is not always optional which greatly affects how you heal.

You only posted it before photo not the present photo so it’s impossible to give you a response. Best of virtual consult with to consider surgical options for revision. There is now a postop photo showing a postop complication of healing and and poor surgical planning. Only option is full revision of breast lift fee for that is $10,000-$20,000.
