Can Invisalign improve my bite? (Photo)

Im wondering if Invisalign can improve my teeth. I was denied jaw surgery becasue my case wasn’t severe enough but i would still like to have perfect teeth and now consodering if invisalign can be an option. Also what would the estimated time be?

Hello, we would need additional information, especially x-rays to know for sure. But, in my office if the underbite is mild we sometimes can correct with rubberbands in addition to invisalign

While more clinical and radiographic studies are necessary for an accurate answer, from what can be seen in the photo your case would require fixed appliances, in this case braces would be the best option to help expand the upper arch. Although invisalign has advanced a lot with its scope for complicated cases, for a skeletal class III, brackets are the best option. With one image it would be difficult to say for sure but underbites can be corrected with Invisalign treatment. Space would have to be created in the lower arch. If spaces already exist, then the lower teeth can be moved back into your mouth so the upper teeth would then be in front of the bottom teeth.
