Suggestions for my poor circulation and thin skin?

I had a revision tip plasty almost 2 years ago and for the last six or so months my nose will get really cold at the tip and my thin skin shrinks tight around the nose and then you can see irregularities and the white cartilage through the skin at the tip. I have “paper thin skin” according to my surgeon and never used to before primary. lt’s driving me crazy because it happens when it’s just cool and feels so awful. I’m worried about winter again. Any suggestions? Accupunture? Why now? I can’t!

Hi there! Sorry that you're having trouble with your tip skin after rhinoplasty. There are options available to improve circulation. In clinic, I will often test the skin to see the blood flow and then recommend hyperbaric oxygen and nanofat injections. The hyperbaric oxygen helps to deliver more oxygen to the tissues while the nanofat delivers stem cells and growth factors ideal for improving the skin quality. If surgery is needed, I will place temporalis fascia over the tip which can help to "thicken" the skin in addition to nano or microfat. Hope that helps!
