Would a second scar excision improve my temple scar? (Photo)

I am hardly surprised by this story. I have been warning my regular readers and followers for years that scar revision surgeries performed in areas subject to muscular tension or motion run the risk for the development of stretch scars and even tram track stitch marks. For now, subcision can be used on any portions of the scar that are depressed (indented) in order to elevate and smooth those regions. Once done, professionally performed conventional microneedling (no need for the expensive addition of "bells and whistles" RF) may used as a final "polishing" step to better blend the treated skin in both color and texture with the surrounding normal skin. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist who specializes in scar treatment. Best of luck.
