Male, skin type:3,age:24 I hade a 8mm punch biopsy done in the middle of my torso, it has now gone more than two years since then and the scar it left me with is indented compared to the surrounding skin. Would a new scar excision fix the problem or just worsen the scar?

Hi melisofi, excellent question. I generally recommend a silicon-based scar gel or strips. The good thing about the silicone strips is that you can cut it to the size of the your scar, and they're re-useable. I would wait at least 3-4 weeks after surgery before using them.
