Rhinoplasty to fix one side of the nose (subtle rhinoplasty)?

photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system. The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Although  you may like the appearance of one side of the nose better than the adjacent side, surgery typically involves improving the overall appearance of the nose, and certain procedures performed need to be symmetric  in order to achieve the desired results

Your nose could be improved with rhinoplasty, which would give permanent improvements in symmetry, shape and profile. You can bring photos of noses that you think would be flattering to your face and these can be discussed. When you meet with a facial plastic surgeon, he or she will consider your nose in balance with your other features and can over the cost of the procedure. I hope this helps.

I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns. 
I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:
1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose? 
2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide? 
3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance? 
4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?
I hope some of these questions will help you pinpoint what it is that you don't like about your nose.  Cost will vary due to various factors like anesthesia fees, facilities fees, etc. I wish you the best as you research your options when scheduling a rhinoplasty consultation.

Thank you for your question and photos. You can choose to pursue a rhinoplasty to straighten and refine the nose, even if you are looking for subtle changes. My advice would be to seek consultations in person with rhinoplasty surgeons so that you can learn what is involved in surgery including the recovery and risks. In your particular case, I do see the areas you want to address in the photos and it does seem to me like you could be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Hope this helps! Good luck

Improving nasal asymmetry is a common request. The areas
that concern you can be realistically cosmetically improved with a  subtle natural appearing artistically performed rhinoplasty through either a closed or open approach.
 
Keep in mind
that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes
to tell you exactly what to do and technically how to do it based on limited
two dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue,
assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing
the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best surgery.
Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for
one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that
you find a surgeon certified by the American Board of American Plastic Surgery
and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic
Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust and
are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in
person.

To straighten the crooked nose requires osteotomies placed in the nasal bones, and sometimes a spreader graft composed of the patient's own cartilage placed underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage in the midportion of the nose. All of this can be accomplished with a closed rhinoplasty approach with all the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. This is considered a full rhinoplasty. A thorough internal and external examination the nose going to be required to determine upon how best to proceed with a surgical procedure on the nose.
