Are Red Bumps on Throat After Sciton Fractional Laser Normal? (photo)

On Wednesday I had a Sciton Profractional laser on my face. Although red, things are ok. On Friday and today, however, I developed pronounced red bumps on my throat. Is this just a reaction to the doctor going along the jawline area and slightly below? I'm washing often and coat my face (not my throat) with vaseline (what I'm supposed to do). Trying to keep the vaseline away. I am taking Benadryl (for itchiness and swelling). The neck doesn't itch. Typical post-surgery breakout? Thanks!

Thank you for your question.  This is 100% normal and expected.  Scars with profractional laser are extremely rare.  The pin point spots are the #laser beam going through the small perforated shield which allows for quicker recovery. Give it a few more days of healing.  I...
