Hello, which treatment will be done for large pores, texture and post acne scars. I have tried laser genesis in the past, microneedling and Aviclear for acne. I have also done 3 seasons of Hyperdiluted radiesse and waiting on results. In the meantime, I would like to know what can be done as I have not seen any success with any of the treatments I have done so far.
Answer: CO2 Resurfacing Lasers Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. For addressing large pores, skin texture issues, and post-acne scars, CO2 laser treatments can be an excellent option. This ablative laser works by precisely targeting the outer layers of the skin, promoting significant collagen remodeling and skin rejuvenation. The procedure not only helps reduce the appearance of scars but also tightens the skin, making pores appear smaller and improving overall texture. Unlike some other treatments, CO2 lasers provide more dramatic results due to their deeper penetration and effective skin resurfacing capabilities. While you might experience some downtime following the treatment, the outcomes often justify this, as many patients notice a marked improvement in skin smoothness and clarity within weeks, with results continuing to improve over several months as collagen builds. I use this all the time in the office and absolutely love the results. I highly recommend. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: How to treat irregular skin? Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. It seems like you have already tried most of the available procedures.. I’ve seen patients have good results with red light treatments in their homes. See an experienced oculofacial surgeon who is familiar with the different devices on the market.

Answer: Treatment Options for Large Pores, Fine Lines, Texture, and Acne Scars Hello, Thank you for your question and for providing details about your previous treatments. Given your concerns about large pores, fine lines, texture, and acne scars, there are several potential treatments that might be beneficial: Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing: This is a highly effective treatment for improving skin texture, reducing the appearance of scars, and minimizing pores. It works by creating tiny columns of thermal damage in the skin, which stimulates collagen production and skin remodeling. Chemical Peels: Medium to deep chemical peels can help improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of scars and large pores. They work by exfoliating the top layers of skin, promoting the growth of new, healthier skin. Microneedling with Radiofrequency (RF): Combining microneedling with RF can enhance the effects of traditional microneedling. The RF energy helps to further stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. TCA Cross (Trichloroacetic Acid Cross): This technique is particularly effective for treating deep acne scars. It involves the application of high-concentration TCA directly to the scar tissue to promote collagen remodeling. Dermal Fillers: For certain types of acne scars, dermal fillers can be used to lift the depressed areas, making the skin surface more even. Prescription Topicals: Retinoids and other topical agents can help improve skin texture and reduce pore size over time by increasing cell turnover and promoting collagen production. It's important to have a thorough consultation with a board-certified dermatologist to assess your skin and discuss your treatment history in detail. They can recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and skin type. If you have any further questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please feel free to contact our office. Best regards,

Answer: Improving on Facial skin appearance and texture The least expensive way to improve your facial skin would be to use Retin-A. Now, with the fall and winter approaching is the best time to start using this product. In combination with Alpha hydroxy acid and vitamin C, you’ll see a marked improvement in the skin quality within approximately one month The second approach which is a bit more expensive, but works much faster would be to have e-CO2 treatment. With this type of CO2 treatment, you’ll see amazing results within an approximately two weeks I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery, Leonard Grossman MD
