Would be great to get rid of lump after Radiesse 15 years ago, any thoughts? (Photo)

It may be a buildup of collagen where the Radiesse was originally injected. The only way to know would to be to have an ultrasound or other imaging test performed. Radiesse is designed to build three different types of collagens to improve the appearance and quality of the skin. If it was injected in a way where it does not spread properly, it can form lumps that take a long time to go away on their own.

I stopped using Radiesse quite a few years ago, since this semi-permanent filler cannot be easily dissolved (fyi: sodium thiosulfate rarely if ever works) should there be any untoward reactions, as in this instance. I have had gratifying results using an algorithm of intralesional injections composed of verying combinations concentrations and amounts of intralesional anti-inflammatory agents.
