Hi, I would want to know Vanquish & Ultrashape which one is better for the arms, I would want to lose a few cm on it? Actually, I have consulted a centre & they said Ultrashape is not suitable for my arm. My arm is about 26,27 cm which are not fat enough for the Ultrashape , is that true ? How many times of treatments I need for the Ultrashape & Vanquish ? Which one will be more efficient ? Thank you
Answer: Best treatment for shaping the upper arms Hello and I appreciate your inquiry. Vanquish and Ultrashape use different technology but work in a similar fashion to liquefy fat cells in the target area so they can be eliminated by the body. Both these devices work reasonably well on the midsection, but arm shaping can be a bit more challenging. I usually use CoolSculpting or tumescent liposuction for the arms, sometimes combined with ThermiTight for skin tightening if loose skin is also present. I recommend you visit with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who has extensive experience and multiple options in body contouring. In my experience with my patients, Vanquish ME gives better results for the abdomen or thighs, but for arms we've had the best results using a combination approach with Coolsculpting followed by Radiofrequency/Ultrasound with either Exilis Ultra or Trusculpt.
