Skin tightening with new Exilis Ultra or Profound RF for face? I had Profound RF done but didn’t see much difference, was debating having done again or trying the new exilis?
Answer: Skin tightening lasers such as Morpheus8 helps production of collagen, tightens, and lifts the skin for a more defined look. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Exilis Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. Exilis uses advanced radio frequency (RF) and ultrasound technology to tighten skin and help reduce unwanted areas of fat. Collagen production is stimulated during these treatments resulting in a smoother, more firmer looking appearance of your skin. If you did not see results with your other treatment, Exilis may be a great option. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Exilis for skin tightening Hi, Thank you for youe question. Exilis is a non invasive procedure to correct the winkles, lumps, sagging skin and cellulite as well. The good thing about exilis is it being a non invasive procedure. It needs frequent sessions to complete the plan. You can switch over to exilis if you are not happy with RF. Good luck.

Answer: Skin Tightening for the face with J Plasma, lasers, RF treatments, microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy, Renuvion, Inmode BodyTite Without images or an in-person consultation, it's difficult to say which treatment would be your best option. I believe a combination approach is the best solution to seeing the most improvement with skin tightening on the face. In my practice, we use J Plasma, lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, Co2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and radiofrequency treatments to obtain the best outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a peraonalized treatment plan. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Skin tightening with RF Just like anything else, every patient will respond to RF heating differently. if you didn’t have a significant response to Profound, then It’s unlikely you’ll have a big response to another RF modality (even though exilis ultra also has ultrasound also). Without seeing before and after pictures, it’s hard to label you a non-responder. But is that is the case, you should consider other options for tightening; potentially even more invasive ones.
