I know peels make your skin thin, but what risks are involved with laser?

Laser genesis is definitely one of the safest procedures out there. Not only does it NOT thin your skin, it actually makes it thicker by promotion collagen production. It is safe enough to do right before an event as it has no downtime. Hope this helps --

laser that specifically treats the deeper surfaces of the skin with a
non-ablative method. This is often referred to as the "lunch-time"

This treatment is one of the lower risk laser procedures. It does not thin skin, in fact it thickens skin by stimulating collagen - this takes 3-6 months.
