I’ve been to several dermatologists and got a different response each time about how to treat my SK. I was given curettage as an option a few years back. Others have said IPL while others say they’d never use IPL on Asian skin because the risk of making the spot darker. I saw a doctor today to try Eskata but was turned away because my spot is not raised. The spot is flat, textured, and about the size of an eraser end.

Answer: The best way to treat this would to do a chemical peel combined with melarase creams
Looks like your skin is burned. I would recommend keeping a Growth factor serum and cream to help speed up the healing and minimize any chance of scarring. You will also need to keep it out of the sun and keep a Physical sunscreen on.

If your entire chest was treated, it is odd that you have a single burn, unless it was a test spot done at higher energy. Fortunately, burns from IPL usually heal uneventfully because the energy is delivered to superficial layers of the skin, which heal faster than deep dermis or...
