I had some cosmetic surgery approximately 4 months ago (facelift). At that time, upon my request, the dr. said he could help that side of the nose issue by doing a minimal ultrasonic rhinoplasty. I'm happy with the nose itself, but am bothered by the "wings" and the lack of smoothness at the inner eye/nose/cheek junction. I see no difference and am hoping there is another solution.

Answer: Morpheus8 can smooth out fine lines throughout the face Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Laser treatment to improve skin after facelift is a great idea Finding a permanent solution for lines around the nose, mouth and sagging facial skin is challenging. There are many options such as Botox, filler injections, Chemical peels, laser treatments (Non-ablative as well as resurfacing) with little to no down time. It really depends on what you're specifically interested in and they're all sorts of combinations. It really depends on your skin, sun exposure and genetics. It is best to talk to your surgeon because everybody has different techniques and options with various recovery times. I strongly feel that it's very important to have an honest conversation with your surgeon about your particular situation, lifestyle, work environment and specifically which procedures you're having done so that you both have the most honest answer about your recovery and are realistic with expectations and results. Surgery is not for everyone. In today's day and age, there are many nonsurgical options to consider and laser is the most dramatic result usually. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of facelifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure above all, you walk out of there with several options and an idea of the pros and cons to each of them as well as realistic expectations. I hope this helps and wish you all the best in your surgery and event. If it does, please take a moment to up vote this answer on the “respond” button on the top right.
