Does Radiesse come without lidocaine?

Radiesse comes with or without lidocaine.  Sculptra is another product that could be used without lidocaine and I believe some of the Restylane products can still be purchased without lidocaine.

Dear julian86:Lidocaine is added to fillers to minimize discomfort. I sometimes add a small amount of epinephrine as well, to minimize bruising. Radiesse comes plain or premixed with lidocaine. In my office, we can provide either, according to your preference. BElotero is a hyaluronic acid that is sold without lidocaine, so is another option for you. Last.y, Sculptra is a biostimulatory filler that is sold a a lyophilized powder to which the doctor adds saline, and usually lidocaine, but certainly could be provided to you without the lidocaine.I do hope this was helpful for you!All the best,   Dr. Clark

To answer your question, Radiesse is available with and without lidocaine. During your consultation, just be sure to speak with your injector about your preferences. Lidocaine helps numb the area for an improved patient injection experience. Good luck!

Radiesse is an excellent filler with longevity. It comes with and without lidocaine. I personally prefer the filler without lidocaine. You should be able to find an ASPS surgeon who can address your preference.

Radiesse is one of the few products that offers both a lidocaine and non-lidocaine option.
Radiesse Plus comes with lidocaine pre-mixed with the filler product.  Radiesse does not have lidocaine mixed with the filler. 
Most experienced injectors should have both options readily available at your request.

Radiesse plus has lidocaine but Radiesse does not and is easily available and as the injection is done at the junction of the skin and fat it is not very painful at all

Radiesse is sold without the anesthetic component.  It is difficult to inject it deep without any anesthetic; if you flinch, you will bruise.  I use Restylane with lidocaine without any additional injections and that works very nicely without the feeling that you dislike.
