What is needed to fix my smile? (Photo)

Question

My smile does not look normal. In photos I always have to smirk because when I smile the lower teeth are never visible and only part of my upper teeth show. My already thin upper lip becomes even thinner and the whole smile just ends up looking uncanny. I just want to be able to smile with my teeth like a normal person. What surgery is needed to fix this?

Your photographs are limited. I would like to see a photograph in repose with your jaw relaxed. However, you may be a candidate for a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.
