mature bodybuilder looking for an xxl implant that i assume would be custom made. i already have an allied biomedical powerflex pec pectoralis implant acpi-4 (17.6 x 13.4 x 3.2 cm) that was put in during 12/02. so, i assume there's a good sized pocket already created. thank you.
Answer: Bigger pecs Your current chest/pec contour looks excellent. but since the photo only shows your upper body, we can't judge the chest proportion together with the rest of the body. particularly height. A larger implant will require that it be custom-made. Working with you in terms of the particular zones of the chest where you want further fullness, the process should be easier than usual since we would use a "sizer" of your current implant to indicate where the manufacturer needs to enlarge. The only other aspect to keep in mind is that as the upper pole of the implant projection increases without some additional fullness in the inferior portion, the nipple/areolar area points more and more downward. As a new surgery is planned, this factor needs to be accounted for as well. Having performed many of these procedures over the past 30+ years, arriving at the result you desire is more complex and sophisticated than it first appears.Good luck.John A. Grossman, MD
