Should I see ophthalmologist or oculoplastic? Will micro-needling help with a white scar? (Photos)

I am not sure it is even worse the discomfort of the service. This is a white scar because your surgeon made the incision very high in the thicker brow skin, The scar is clean (but white). I am not sure revisioning this scar will get it to be any less conspicuous. It is not visible with your eyes open. I think it will be challenging to make this incision that is only visible with your eyes close, less conspicuous. Be careful what you chase after. Well meaning cosmetic surgeons can cause harm.

It is impossible to control color of the upper eyelid scar; sometimes it becomes dark pigmented, sometimes it turns white like yours; usually it is barely visible. It could have been placed a bit lower, but altogether you should live with what you have; it is well hidden. It is unlikely that upper blepharoplasty created dry eyes, more frequently mild dry eye symptoms become more obvious after eyelid surgery. Management with eye drops helps. Small amount of filler or fat graft may correct medial hollowness but it should be done by an expert. Good luck.

Some people will lose the pigment in a scar as it heals.  This occurs more commonly where there is some tension on the wound or if it separates a little.  Even when it heals fine, after several months some people will lose the pigment.  There is nothing that can bring the pigment back.  You can try re-excising the scar, but there is a good chance the same thing may occur.  You can't see it with the eyes open, so best to leave it alone.For the hollowing, you could try some hyaluronic acid gel.   

The best option would be to do gentle treatments like microneedling and strictly avoid sun exposure. The laser Resurfx can be used as well but has to be done with protecting the globe and cornea. Try using GHK-Cu peptide cream of high quality on regular basis. As a last resort you can get a matching skin color tattooed over the scar to blend it better. RegardsDr. J
