Will microcurrent facials help make botox last less?

Question

i read that stimulating the muscles with microcurrent may help rebuild the connections faster. I am just trying to avoid muscle atrophy from not using the muscles since i do not like the botox results.

Thank you for your question! I am sorry that you are not satisfied with your Botox results. I would advise you to avoid microcurrent for the first few weeks after Botox injection. Botox anyways lasts 3-4 months, and it will be gone before you know it. Best of luck!

your question angelique2016. Botox is
a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. Some devices such as the NuFACE use microcurrent to stimulate muscles. I recommend that my patients avoid these devices for one week after a Botox treatment. There are no studies demonstrating that microcurrent makes the results of a Botox treatment go away faster so unfortunately I do not have an answer for your question. Most people enjoy the results of their Botox treatment for 3-4 months. At that point the wrinkles are normally back to the baseline level. Please consult with
a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
