Would chin filler help with tension, dimpling, and shape? Only occurs when lips are closed and resting. (photos)

I like my chin/profile when I’m smiling or my mouth is open. But at rest/with my lips closed, it’s tense and dimpled. Would chin filler help this? I recently got Botox and am still waiting for it to settle in. I think it’ll help with the dimpling, but still wondering what I can do about the shape itself.

Thank you for your query. I only use Juviderm fillers but if you have used other Hyaluronic fillers like Nexfill , there should be no problem using Juviderm to add volume to your chin, to the best of my knowledge. It will be best to discuss this with your physician who you have chosen to do the...

Chins usually require at least 1, up to 3 syringes to get improvement as its quite a wide area and the filler is placed deep on top of the bone. Half syringes are too subtle and only work well in areas like the lips or undereyes.

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

The great thing about chin fillers is that they can be adjusted, its an amazing treatment for facial balancing and doenst have to appear pointy or overdone. the chin usually required more than one syringe, however, even one syringe will be benefical and achieve some facial balancing.

Hello. Unfortunately, you are in a very unfortunate situation and you do not have the luxury of saying that you do not want a chin implant. Because of the combination of a small jaw and these relaxed muscles, you have the current situation. A smaller implant than your old implant must be placed....

Hi @aubreyyy11. It is difficult to tell if you have migration based on your photos. I recommend an in person consultation. Submental liposuction in combination with Morpheus 8 is a great option to get rid of a double chin. Best of luck, Dr. Nima
