So i want only my inner eyebrow to sit lower so i can get eyebrows like Kim. I don't want to raise my eyebrows more. So can botox work only on the inner eyebrow region or will the botox drop the whole eyebrow? Does frontalis muscle control the whole eyebrow?
Answer: Eyebrows and botox Hi sakshibjaindera, First: always be cautious comparing to celebrities. You never actually know what combination of treatments/skin care/ brow thinning/makeup is actually used. Now that is out of the way: The eyebrow is pulled in different directions by different facial muscles. You are on the right track that frontalis contributes to upward pull. Different parts of frontalis can be afftected differently to cause the brow change position in different ways. But frontalis is not the ONLY muscle that affects eyebrow position. An experienced plastic surgeon or injector should evaluate you animating your face in several different ways to help achieve your goals. With botox or any other neurotoxin, it is always better to titrate up to your desired effect potentially with a couple or few injection sessions. Rather than inject too much on the first go around and have the brow mispositioned. Best,

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: What to know about botox Thank you for submitting your question and photos. Botox Cosmetic can be used to shape the brow to the desired effect by correct placement of the injection site. By targeting the specific muscle, the brow alignment can be adjusted to achieve the desired appearance. When administered correctly, Botox can provide natural-looking results that last for approximately 3-4 months. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can take your aesthetic goals into account and make the best suggestion to help you achieve them.

Answer: Yes, Botox can shape the brow Yes, botox can lower your medial brow while raising or maintaining your lateral brow. There are a few muscles that control the eyebrow, the main ones being the frontalis (which raises the brow), the corrugators (which depresses the medial brow), and the lateral orbicularis oculi fibers (which depress the lateral brow). So, to shape the brow like that, we relax the frontalis muscle and the lateral orbicularis muscle to let the brow drift down a little but stay up or raise laterally. We also usually treat the glabella as well to relax all the muscles evenly. Please remember, though, you are a different person with a different starting point than Kim K--when you see a photo like that, you don't know what is her real brow and what is makeup (or photoshop).
