How long do you have to wait to be intimate after liposuction?

This varies by patient, but intimacy can resume when you feel comfortable.  Generally this is anywhere from a few days up to a week or two.  Just easy goes it as you resume.  Best of luck with your liposuction!

I have patients wait around 2 weeks until their compression is off and the swelling is resolving quickly.  But the real answer is individual, until a person feels they have no soreness or pain in the treatment areas.  I wouldn't recommend sex immediately after the procedure, but as soon as the port sites begin to heal and bruising and swelling decrease, you can go back to it.  Any pain in the treatment areas during sex should tell you to take a little more time off before performing any intense physical activity.  I wish you the best of luck, Dr. Emer.

I think that it is a good idea to give it a "rest" for a week until sutures are removed and your soreness has abated in most cases.  Best to ask your surgeon.

Always a good idea to discuss this stuff with your specific plastic surgeon but I would say wait 48 hours. By then, your fluid balance and dehydration should be normalizing and you are less likely to get dizzy. It is normal to have some numbness around the genitalia if significantly swollen.

The easy answer is whenever you feel up to it. No gymnastics and don't feel pressured. It will also depend on how much lipo and which areas.
